Liturgical Ministers

Volunteers are needed at Mass for various ministries during the  Sunday liturgy. Eucharistic ministers are required to attend classes before being scheduled. Lectors share the Sunday readings from the ambo. Resource workbooks help with understanding the culture of Jesus' time and the pronunciation of names. Hospitality ministers are needed to greet people at the door to make new comers feel  welcomed as well as take up the collection at the offertory.  Gift bearers take the wine and bread to the altar to be consecrated.  Altar server training is provided  for adults and youth to assist at Mass.  At St. John you make a difference when you volunteer.  Contact the office.
